The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards were held on Tuesday 11 June. At the ceremony, Emma Pereda Carámbula, Emilia Cetani Vero and Julieta Fontán Delgado (Bachillerato Diversificado students) received recognition for their exceptional performance in the last year Cambridge International Education examination series.

Emma obtained top recognition in Uruguay in English as a Second Language; Emilia got top in Uruguay in History and Julieta reached Best Across (first place in Uruguay, best average among the seven subjects).

The three students took part in the IGCSE programme, and due to their excellent results, they are part of this world ranking that celebrates the success of learners taking Cambridge examinations in over 40 countries around the world.

The ceremony was attended by Cambridge and Dickens Institute authorities with the presence of all the distinguished students from Uruguay, as well as representatives of the English language areas of each educational institution.

We are proud of the performance of these students, and also proud of being part of a strong record of Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards.
